The Gospel is referred to in the NT as

  1. The Gospel of the Kingdom – the Kingdom that Christ will rule over
  2. The Gospel of the Grace of God – salvation by grace through faith
  3. The Glorious Gospel – the gospel of the glorious appearance ushering in the millennium kingdom
  4. The Everlasting Gospel – this will be preached just before the ‘Vial Judgments’ are poured out on earth during the tribulation.

However there is “ANOTHER GOSPEL” that Paul refers to in Gal. 1:6-12 and 2 Cor. 11:4 which Paul repudiates as a perversion of the true Gospel. It has many adherents. Many preach it here. It teaches that faith is not sufficient  for salvation. It tells you that faith in Christ is not sufficient to keep a person in Christ. The implication is that the faith of Christ is not Perfect for those who have faith in Christ; that somehow the King of Kings cannot keep His own. Those who preach this OTHER GOSPEL always emphasize GOOD WORKS. It is upon these good works preachers, teachers and screachers whom Paul pronounces the  fearful “ANATHEMA” :

Galatians 1:8 - But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!

Marco, you just cursed Jesus, His disciples, apostles, and every one for that matter.

It is you who is speaking contrary to the Scriptures -

Matt.5

[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your GOOD WORKS, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

John.10

[32] Jesus answered them, Many GOOD WORKS have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

Rom.2

[10] But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that WORKETH GOOD, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

Rom.13

[3] For rulers are not a terror to GOOD WORKS, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

2Cor.9

[8] And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every GOOD WORK:

Phil.1

[6] Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a GOOD WORK in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Col.1

[10] That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every GOOD WORK, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

2Thes.2

[17] Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every GOOD WORD AND WORK.

1Tim.2

[10] But (which becometh women professing godliness) with GOOD WORKS.

1Tim.3

[1] This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth A GOOD WORK.

1Tim.5

[10] Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every GOOD WORK.

[25] Likewise also THE GOOD WORKS of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

1Tim.6

[18] That they do good, that they be rich in GOOD WORKS, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

2Tim.2

[21] If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every GOOD WORK.

2Tim.3

[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all GOOD WORKS.

Tit.2

[7] In all things shewing thyself a pattern of GOOD WORKS: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

[14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of GOOD WORKS.

Tit.3

[1] Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to EVERY GOOD WORK,

[8] This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain GOOD WORKS. These things are good and profitable unto men.

[14] And let ours also learn to MAINTAIN GOOD WORKS for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

Heb.10

[24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to GOOD WORKS:

Heb.13

[21] Make you perfect in every GOOD WORK to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.

1Pet.2

[12] Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your GOOD WORKS, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Actually it is the other way around, Marco. Those who do NO WORKS and those who are REPROBATE TO GOOD WORKS, DENY HIM.

Tit.1

[16] They profess that they know God; BUT IN WORKS THEY DENY HIM, being abominable, and disobedient, and UNTO EVERY GOOD WORK REPROBATE.

It is God, in Jesus, through the Spirit, which does the works using us as meet vessels.

Take note of Peter's words in Acts 3

[11] And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

[12] And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

[15] And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

[16] And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Jesus, through Peter, did the mighty work, not Peter. He was just a willing vessel.

Marco, you just cursed Jesus, His disciples, apostles, and every one for that matter.  not one of your quotes has anything to do with salvation. So you are preaching ANOTHER gospel. But then you believe in two sperate gods ...

the fact of the matter is this ... until you figure out that there is only one God (with three natures) and not two SEPERATE gods you will never understand anything at all ...

the issue for you to explain in your own words (and mind) is how can a man be turned into a god ... in your mind doing good works can turn you into a god ... or at least a catholic bishop : right from ofta: This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth A GOOD WORK.   so ofta you plannnig to be the pope or something like that ...

Yes indeed, it is a sad thing that the owners of this so-called Christian ("Bible Masters at that") would so freely allow those that would D.a.m.n the souls of their fellow man to an eternal hell to post here with impunity. Very sad, and a dispensation of the gospel is upon the head of the owner of this devilish university.

Thank God for the few that Watch! Stand fast in the faith, quit themselves like men and stand strong.

Many here are accursed of God for their "other" gospels.

I don't know, but I do believe that the owner of this site is also a false teacher - else he would stand for the truth. or he has sold out.

I have reached the conclusion that it really doesn't matter what a person posts per se. Posts that are heretical or contain hidden leaven like works based salvation simply:

1. reveal something about the poster themselves; and

2. it reveals something about poeple who then gravitate to such thinking.

Mathew 13 reveal something of this. The Jews sinned wilfully by rejecting Christ and people here do the very same thing ...

Matthew 13:15 - FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN, AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.

finally 2T2.11 is the ultimate expression of this spiritual blindness ... see page 1 first post for furhter discussion.

It is not our intention to police these posts for differences in opinions in these discussions.  Present your argument, support it with scripture, discuss.  We only step in when people begin disrespecting one another in the conversations.

Moderator, we are not asking you to police opinions - how about just enforcing your own statement of faith, hmmm?

What We Believe

BibleMaster.com is a non-denominational ministry that works with all Bible believing Christian churches that embrace traditional Christian theology.

We believe that:

  • There is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God the Son and is true God and true man.

  • Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died on the cross, and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate.

  • The Bible is God's Word, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and is authoritative on all matters on which it speaks.

  • All people sin and fall short of the glory of God and will face eternal separation from God unless they come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free gift from God that can only be received by faith in Jesus Christ.

  • God works through the members of His church to evangelize the lost and teach believers to obey His commands. Churches are to be open to and accepting of all people, offering God's love and redemption to each person without prejudice or condemnation. However, in their efforts to reach out, churches must take care to uphold the Word of God, and not engage in moral compromise or affirm any sin such as sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, homosexuality, stealing, greed, drunkenness, slander, swindling, murder, strife, deceit, malice, gossip, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, factions, or envy.

  • God's people are called to holiness in all aspects of life, with the goal of being conformed to the image of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I see people on here that deny the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, his sinless life and bodily resurrection. The gospel of works is shoved down folks' throats by cultists, the Bible is said to be merely the opinion of men and not inspired.

Deal with it? or will you just delete my posts and pretend there isn't a problem.

We only step in when people begin disrespecting one another in the conversations

And what about those that are disrespecting God Himself with their heresies?

comment for bible believer:

my own experience is that it is heretics who rely on censorship. I was on this site where they promoted sinless living and sinlessness. When I pointed out (not rudely by the way) all of the contradictions, first they censored by posts, then they deleted them, and then they simply banned me from the site. Some of the biblical references were totally laughable ... like God renews your body but not your mind, as if your mind were seperate from your body ... and perhaps for some it is.

The point is that free and open speech is the best way to confront any and all heresies. Whenever you introduce censorship (like in communist states) it is the heretics who benefit as they hide behind politeness and nicities.

I actually agree with the moderator's comments on this score.
