Talking with My good Friend in Cal, As I do Daily
(Like Old Ladies) I'm Portagee Don't Ya Know,

People say I talk too much, I say I don't talk near enough...!!!

AnyHow, Something Dawned On Me, Wow, Even Though James Strong's Took some 35 Years Way Back then, People Only You his Concordance, Here and there. Afew years back I got the Numbers Sold Per Year, It was Only 200,000 Copies, That's It...!!!

And I Doubt Many Used it Like I did I read the Bible every Day All day, Reading while I eat, While in the rest room, Every Where, I could even tell Stories of people telling Me Dude I seen You walking Down the street Reading, It Got so bad for me, that a normal Wake period for me was 2 and three day, No Sleep, The Normal day was not the clock that everyone Else Goes By...!!

A Point is this, When The Bible was Open,
So Was the Concordance, I've gone through at least 7 or 8 Concordance, All full up with Notes, time for a new One...!!!

But my main Point is This,
Few have Used the Concordance to it's Fullest..

But Now with the onset of Computers, As They Say,
We've only just begun...!!!

I did it without the Computer,
But Now that I have one,
Notes and the endless Study,
Can Reveal Sooo Much More...!!!

Seaching One Word Say, Stone 191 times a study this this, Who does Studies to that degree?
That complete,?
not to mention throwing in Words that go with it,
stones 178 times
or Rock and Sand, Earth and there are More,
Not One Person I've met in my 30 years of Studying has taking Word Studies to that degree, With A Book that is a Long Hard study, But now with the onset of the Computer, it can be done Like Never before....!!!

Wow, We live in an age A Time that will allow us the Liberty to Do such studies with ease,
and with the Notes to see thing Later That we may have missed First time Around...!!! Wow...!!!

The Study of the Word, "Judah" 813 times in 752 verses.

Just to do that would be far beond anything any One of Us has Done.

Let alone, reading, not only that Verse But the Verses around it,
to get the full context in Veiw...

Come On Now, You have to agree, Now With the Computer, We can see and Learn things,
Never Seen before, Ever...!!!

The Only Question is, Have We...???

Again, It's A Rhetorical Question...???

Oh Yeah,
Don't we all read, While we're sitting on the Thrown.?

Short Story,

I was Homeless in Hollywood, in my younger days,

Yes I was reading day and Night, this one day And I remember it well,
I walked down Hollywood blvd, it wasn't the Path I took often because it was most the time full of people, But this day I Walked this way because I was running late and it was the Shortest way, From Hollywood blvd to Santa Monica Blvd, Going to where they feed the Homeless. While Walking I was Reading, Was in heavy study that day I couldn't put the Book Down...!!!

Well I went to all the Bible Studies I could get to,
at all the Different Churches, One this Day at that time later that day at a different church, I was everywher,,,...

Well at this One Bible study, this Lady came up to me, I never met Her before, And She Said, Thank You...!!!

I didn't know why she was thanking me, I didn't do anything, or so I thought,. I asked her, Why you thanking Me?

She went on to tell me that she was a prostitute and that she worked the Street Sunset Blvd, for many Years.

But She Said, She Seen me walking down Hollywood Blvd,
Reading My Bible, While Walking, She Said God spoke to her because of that and drove Straight to a church and had the people there help her to Recieve God and His forgiveness, They did,
and she never Looked Back...!!!

This was about 2 months later that I met her, and she said she was going to Church and Bible Study and was hanging out with these People from that day forward...!!!

Ya Never Know How God's Gonna Use You, or When...!!!
All I was doing was reading My Bible...!!!

She Gave me a Big Hug and Thanked me Again...!!!

My Heart Smiles, When I think of how God Used me, just reading...!!!

Yes, that was in the early 80's,
The Bible is with me everywhere I go, Even to the Bathroom...!!!

Ya Never Know...!!!

Well, we know that it is true that anything that was created was created by God, and in His infinite wisdom nothing will escape, so too is it the way of the internet.

This all may seem GREAT!...Aha, alas there is reason....

If one reads as you say you do, and I have no reason to doubt, but if one reads constantly, the word is retained and "sinks down"...

Lu 9:44
Let these sayings sink down into your * * ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

And when these things "sink down" we meditate upon them..

1Ti 4:15
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

Even while you sit upon the porcelain thrown, these things WORK within us.
By the Holy Spirit, we begin to discern or to connect like things with like things, as in; we begin to understand when one thing sounds like another and we compare them. Therefore we can know that we delight in the Word of God...and we eat.

HOWEVER...there is a grave, very grave warning in this...one that even the wholly self professed christian does not want to hear, and that is the TRUE GOSPEL...the WARNING.

The Warning is this;, that in the latter days many will run to and fro, and knowledge will be increased...so what manner of time do we observe according to God's plan of Judgment of this world?

The warning is this also, that mankind needs a savior, and this is not a blanket coverage as some would try and prove with scripture, for the Bible emphatically teaches from end to beginning, that MANY will die death never to live again, and only a FEW will be saved to regenerate through the works of Christ as He so chose from the foundation of the world.

In this manner of time, we can see the internet connecting much of the world with all it's fancy features such as a click of the mouse to translate from one language to another without the user even having the slightest knowledge of another tongue...This should make one recall the historical event and parable of Babel!

If we read carefully, the world then was of a single language, then banished one from the other in that great division of tongues!

This banishment comes upon us once again in the latter days, or the end of time.

So the truth of the Gospel is one of warning, and waiting, and watching, and these things we do THROUGH the WORD OF GOD.

Now as we learn more and more through the Holy Spirit, we then are made wise, in a wisdom of and from God through the WORD. This wisdom teaches us about Gods judgment and His TIMING for everything...

Ecclesiastes 3

1.) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Ecclesiastes 2
26.) For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Ec 8:5
Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.

But for the one to declare that God has made the time of all things known, even Gods time of the END, scorn and scoffing comes upon him...even though the Bible teaches;

"4.) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5.) Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

I guess my point is that we need to heed the true gospel, the "warning", and hope that we too are the children of the light, and if so, know and understand TIME, and be the watchmen we are called to be, and sound the trump of the coming enemy! For most mankind, Christ is the enemy, and for the few, Christ is the Bridegroom.

Well, my point may have slipped through the Cracks,

The point being,
now that we have the Computer,
we can do studies like never before...!!!

Studing words from the first time mentioned
to the last time mentioned, and everything  in between....!!

As I stated Who has done this? Few.
" The Study of the Word, "Judah" 813 times in 752 verses.
Just to do that would be far beond anything any One of Us has Done.
Let alone, reading, not only that Verse,
But the Verses around it,
to get the full context in Veiw...
"

Not Only to do the study, but now we can keep notes and retain more than ever before, ("I forgot about that") can be said way less often.

And Yes, to understand that even in english we read a word, in Hebrew that word may be used with different English words (as well with Greek).

This age we live in,
there is no excuss for Us not to take a study to it's fullest...!!!

You are right, and no your point didn't fall short.

For sure the use of the internet is a useful tool that if used with discernment, can in fact be an abundant aid is a full and proper study of the word of God.

Studies of many precepts can one be caused to undertake, as the example of Judah, Judas, and Judaea, yet the point that i added is that though all studies are beneficial for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, I found that TIME and JUDGMENT is the importance, for the time is very short, and the witnesses had already been killed and risen. The time of the last trump is now, and the scorners and scoffers a**ume un-biblical truths as their authority and still marry and are given in marriage as in the day of Noah...so of a truth, that day will come upon them as a flood...as a thief for they are in their night, for they look not, nor understand.

As you stated, only Few will take heed and turn to a study of time and judgment, and they will be as those of Nineveh that heeded the warning of Jonas.

I haven't found the Internet, per se, to be much help.

It wasn't the Internet I was speaking of,
Most people that are into the Word, "The Bible"
have some kind of Bible Program.
or at least I think so,
if not,
then there Seach or study is even more limited than I thought...

A Bible Program with a Concondance,
to search every time a word is mentioned,
Reading that verse and the Verses around it,
so as not to take it out of Context.

The Internet can't be peoples main Bible Study tool,
if that's the case,
then it makes sense Why people aren't that Hip to The truth of God's Word...!!

Even study without a Concordance, isn't study it's just reading,
to remember where something is is just to taxing, and a great Hindrance to a good study.
A Complete Concordance is Paramount.

But it only makes sense to why there is not any intelligent discussion, there is no real study, people are just skimming over things, they're not searching it out fully.

A Concordance, with a Document to write Notes in,
at the very Least a Pen and paper,
athough your gonna have sore fingers,
I think even note pad in windows, A Computer and a Bible,
The Internet is just a added study tool but not that important.

I didn't study the Hebrew or Greek untill long after I started,
English works Just Fine.

Good point.

So consider this...

What is the verse below talking about and what context is it being used in?

2 Peter 3
8.) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Remember, the context can start a few verses before and a few after the verse in question.

Few see and understand, God given of course.

Touching on the use of a concordance as a study aid, note keeper as a true study verses study without the concordance as "Just Reading"...

I personally use the margins and edges of the pages of my Bible to "NOTE" in.
In most cases, I use the concordance only to identify a given word and where it appears within and throughout the Bible.

The "trap" is when one uses a concordance to "DEFINE" a word in the Bible, for that is a gross misuse of the concordance.

The concordance can show you if the actual English word you read really exists within the original ancient tongues.

The concordance can only show you what an original word in the ancient tongue was translated into.

The concordance does not define words, yet shows a belief of meaning based upon the context it is included in...that is a dangerous practice to think the concordance defines a word.

Take Hebrews 8:8 for example;

   Heb 8:8
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

The word "MAKE" as in the Greek "Diatithemai" as (to make) does not exist in this pa**age, rather it is the Greek word "Sunteleo" as in to (FINISH).

We see the concordance showing us a mis-translation in this scripture which in fact CHANGES the meaning of the verse and the Context it is used in altogether...but it does not define the word, for we have to look to the context to define the word and compare it to like words and their context they too are used in.

So here God is telling us that He will FINISH or COMPLETE the covenant with the House of Israel and the house of Judah, and in this context, we see an end to God using National Israel as the illustration of the elect on earth, and an end to using Judah as the illustration of those peoples of the congregations or as-semblies (churches) as the elect on earth, help proving that salvation is outside of the churches for it is satans seat.

The concordance is a tool to guide, but not define. A tool to prove the english translation of a word in the original tongue, and if indeed it appears at all within the sacred text.

That is just what a Concordance is to be used for..!
(I stoped writing in my bible years ago.)
But touching on notes,

Have you seen my Poerty Version?  There is a web Version and a download of the Whole Bible King James 1769, In Microsoft Word Documents.
Lots of room for Notes, Notes that your grandkids's GreatGrandkids can read all in digital format, And add to.

Yeah, I'm not speaking of a dictionary, just each time a word is used in the Bible and the Verses around It.

Studying the English Word, and Names, for the most part.
and few get into words like "make" or "in", or "thou",
Few I say and guess what I'm being kind, in my 30 some years I have met even one that goes that deep.

I'm just touching on words like Judah, Water, bread, baptism, Earth words like that.

Not even getting to the Hebrew or greek just within the English.

The Very first word I studied was the Word Stone, and then Stones, Now I'm talking every single verse from Genesis to Revelation, Stone 191 times, Stones 178 times, and that search also included Stoned, stony, stoning, stonequarters.

But it didn't stop there, it went on to include rock, rocks, sand, earth, clay.

And I'm saying that's where it started, not only reading that Verse but the verses around that word, It somtimes even included reading the Chapter and chapters before and after.

Studies that went on for Years, And Not by any Stretch the Imagination was the word or act "Skim" involved it that Study.

Just with the Concordance and the Bible.

I'm talking just using that as a base, and then later getting into the Hebrew and greek of it.

only 200,000 Concordances being sold each year, tells me few are studying this way, So with that how can anyone say they know anything? They Can't.

But I'm not even talking to This, I'm talking to those of Old before Strong's and others compiled the Concordances, how indepth was their study how could they find thing out without the Concordance, it was limited at best, and these are the people we are looking to for their knowledge...???

Ya get what ya pay for...!!!

Proverbs 23:23
Buy the truth,
and sell it not;
also wisdom,
and instruction,
and understanding.

We are in an Age that has No excuse,
to be dumb is nothing less than lazy,
Concerning the Word of God...!!!

We have the tools, to exceed, far beond what it known.

Yet we don't...!!!

I'm incensed at the lack of Knowledge, not only by the people I talk with, but with those people We have been looking to for answers and knowledge, it's as if they don't realy care, it's Sad at least for me.
